The three musicians created a unique fusion of flamenco, Hungarian folk and Gypsy music by composing flamenco pieces on some of the most well-known Hungarian folk songs. Since the beginning of 2008, the trio have given a number of concerts at prestigious cultural venues in Hungary and in Belgium (Brussels) also. On August 24, 2008 they performed in Spain: at the presence of the President of Hungary they gave the opening concert of the Hungarian National Day at Expo Zaragoza 2008.  ESZTER
BARTOK is one of the most talented and most popular young singers
of Hungary. She got to the finals of Megasztar (the Hungarian version
of the talent TV show titled "American Idol") in 2005. In
the past two years she released two albums. In 2006 she received the
"eMeRTon - Talent of the Year" prize from the Hungarian
National Radio. ROBERT
SINHA is a classical guitar player graduated from the Dutch Royal
Conservatory in 2006. In the past four years five of his performances
were sponsored by the Spanish Embassy in Budapest. He gave a number
of concerts in The Netherlands (Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam),
Belgium (Brussels) and at all major Hungarian festivals. He performed
live on numerous occasions in the Hungarian National Television as
well as leading Hungarian private channels and radio stations. ROBERT
VIDAK is a guitarist coming from a Hungarian Gypsy family of musicians.
He started to learn flamenco from Spanish players performing in Hungary.
He also travelled to Sevilla for master-classes. But unlike other
non-Spanish guitar players, he is not trying to imitate flamenco as
it is played in Spain, but rather incorporated it into his own Hungarian
Gypsy musical culture. He regularly performs at the most prestigious
cultural venues, art festivals and in the most popular TV channels
of Hungary. |
